R.D. Mill Store

R.D. Mill Store has been sitting at 78/45 on Latouche Road for quite a long time. If you know the area, you know that Latouche Road is one of the busiest places for hardware and tools. Our shop is just like many others on the street, packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of bits and pieces. We have pulleys, belts, and various mill parts tucked away in every corner. Sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but I usually know which pile it's in. It’s a dusty place because of all the metal and the constant traffic outside. We don’t have air conditioning or anything like that, just a couple of old ceiling fans that keep the air moving. My father started this place, and I’ve been here since I was a kid. We don't do any fancy advertising. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know the address and they know they can just walk in and ask for what they need. The sidewalk out front is always crowded with delivery carts and people rushing by. It’s a bit chaotic but it’s home to us. We try to keep the books straight and the stock topped up. It’s a simple life running a mill store on a road like this. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes by.
