We are based at 86/245 A-1 in Raipurwa, which is in the Kanpur-3 area. If you know Kanpur, you know it’s a big hub for this kind of work. We handle chemicals here, mostly for local trade and smaller shops that need supplies. The building is an old one, typical for Raipurwa, and we’ve occupied this section of it for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the barrels and sacks stacked up everywhere. We don’t have a fancy reception area. Usually, the guys are just out in the back loading things or checking the inventory against a clipboard. The air around here always smells a bit like sulfur or soap, depending on what we’re moving that day. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms or anything like that. Most of us just wear our old clothes because things tend to get messy when you're moving chemical drums around. The street outside can get very crowded with rickshaws and carts, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just deal with it as it comes. We’ve got a regular group of customers who have been buying from us since we started. They know we don't do anything flashy, we just provide what they need at a fair price. It’s a simple operation, run by a few of us who have lived in Kanpur our whole lives. We usually share some tea in the afternoon while the trucks are being loaded.
