We set up our office at 7/198 in Swaroop Nagar quite some time ago. Being near Hallet Hospital means it’s always crowded outside with people and ambulances. It can get pretty noisy during the day. We are also right near Swati Restaurant, which is where we usually grab our lunch or take people for a quick bite if we’re talking about a building design. Kanpur is a busy city and Swaroop Nagar is right in the middle of all that energy. Inside the office, things are a bit messy with blueprints and samples of tiles or bricks lying around on the floor. We aren't the type of people to wear suits and ties every day. Most of us are just in regular clothes, drinking chai and trying to figure out how to make a building fit in a tight space. We have a few desks and a lot of shelves full of old folders. The building we are in is older, so the walls have some character, or maybe they just need a bit of fresh paint. We don't mind either way. It feels like home to us. We’ve worked on quite a few houses and commercial spots around this part of town over the years. People just know us as the guys near the hospital who do the drawings. We don't spend money on big ads because the work usually speaks for itself when people see a house being built nearby.
