Our shop is on Halsey Road in the Dhankutti area of Kanpur. If you look for house number 74/274, that’s where we are. Being in Dhankutti means it is always busy and there is a lot of noise from the street. We deal with balloons mostly, so the place is usually full of bright colors and bags of uninflated rubber. It can get a bit cramped when we have a big order to get ready. There are balloons everywhere, sometimes even on the ceiling if someone isn't careful. We aren't a big fancy company with a shiny storefront. It’s more of a workshop where we get things done. People from around Kanpur come to us when they have a birthday or some kind of celebration. We spend a lot of time tying knots and making sure the tanks are full of air or gas. It’s a simple business, really. We started it because we saw a need for it in this part of town. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but we try to keep the balloons clean. We don't have a big marketing plan. Most people just find us because they saw our sign on Halsey Road or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s just a local spot where we work hard and hope people like the decorations we put together for them. It is honest work and we are happy to be part of the local market life here.
