Eves Beauty Parlour & Coaching Centre is tucked into Pandu Nagar at 177-H-1/380. It is quite close to Deoki Cinema, so we hear the crowds sometimes when a big movie is playing. This place is a bit of a mix because we do the beauty work but also have the coaching going on. It makes for a busy atmosphere in Kanpur. There are always people coming in and out, some looking for a threading job and others coming for their lessons. The rooms are filled with chairs and desks and beauty kits. We try to keep things organized but with so much happening, it can get a little crowded. The walls have some charts and posters on them. We have been in this spot for some time and the locals know the address well. It is not a shiny, corporate office or anything like that. It is just a practical space where people come to learn or get ready for an event. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break. The lighting is bright so everyone can see what they are doing, whether it is applying makeup or writing in a notebook. Pandu Nagar is a good area to be in, and being near the cinema makes it easy for people to find us. We just keep doing our thing every day, helping the women who stop by. We are usually here until the evening when the shops close up.
