We are based out in Peringome, which is in the Kannur area. It’s a bit different from the big city offices you see in Kochi or Trivandrum. Being at Melepezhumkatil gives us a lot of peace. We started Tandemsquare because we wanted to work in our own way without all the office politics you find in larger firms. It’s mostly just us and our computers out here. We deal with various tech requirements that come our way from different people. The internet can be a bit patchy sometimes when it rains hard, but we manage to get things done. Kannur is a beautiful place to live and work. We don't have a big HR team or anything like that. If someone has an issue, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. Most of our days are spent troubleshooting or writing code. We don't put on suits or anything fancy. It’s a very casual environment. We focus on the practical side of things. People in the neighborhood know where we are, but we aren't exactly a household name. That suits us fine. We just want to do a good job for the clients we have. It’s honest work. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay for the long haul. There’s something nice about being a local business in a smaller town. You get to know people. We’re just a bunch of tech-minded folks making a living without too much drama.
