S S Metals Industries

In the town of Kannor, S S Metals Industries is just one of those places that’s been doing its thing for a long time. It’s loud in here most of the day because of the machines and the metal hitting the floor. We don't have an office with carpets or anything like that. It’s concrete and steel everywhere you look. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know the routine without having to talk about it much. We deal with different types of metal, cutting and shaping things as the orders come in. Some days it’s just small parts, other times it’s big heavy stuff that takes a few of us to move. The air always has that metallic smell, and our hands are usually pretty dirty by lunchtime. It’s not the kind of work everyone likes, but it suits us. Kannor is a good place for this kind of industry. We get a lot of local guys coming in needing something specific for a project or a fix. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just our physical location where you can hear us working from down the street. It’s a grit-and-sweat kind of place. We just focus on getting the jobs done and making sure the metal pieces are cut right before they leave the yard. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything moving, but we managed to make it work every single day without much fuss.
