Expo Steel Marketing

Expo Steel Marketing is located in Talipparamba, right near the New Bazar. It’s a busy part of the Kannur District. There is always something going on at the market, so it’s a lively place to be. We deal with steel mostly, as the name says. It’s heavy work and everything is a bit rough around the edges. Our yard is usually full of pipes and sheets that we move around with a lot of noise. It’s not a quiet job. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a small desk where we do the bills and take phone calls. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to cover everything up quickly. That’s just how it goes here. People from all over the district come by when they are building something new. We don’t do a lot of talking unless it’s about the work at hand. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we know the local builders and contractors pretty well. We don’t have a brochure or a website to show you. You just have to come down to the New Bazar area and see what we’ve got in stock. It’s honest, hard work. We stay until the last truck is loaded and then we head home. It’s been that way for a long time and we don't see it changing much.
