Sri Srinivasa Engineering

No. 3/3 Ramapuram Road is where you will find us. We are tucked away in Sathiya Nagar, right in the Manapakkam area. Engineering is what we do, but it’s mostly just getting our hands dirty with metal and parts. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the floor space. It smells like oil and burnt metal most of the time, which is just how an engineering works should smell, I think. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If someone comes by, they usually just walk up to the main bench and wait for one of us to look up from what we are doing. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there is always some piece of equipment that needs attention. We take the work as it comes. Some days are slow and we just clean the tools, and other days we are working late into the evening under those bright overhead lights. It’s a simple setup. We know the people around Manapakkam and they know where to find us if they need something fabricated or fixed up. It’s just a local business doing its thing on Ramapuram Road. We don't need fancy words to explain that.
