You can find us over at No. 6/9 on 1St Street in Alandur. It’s a quiet enough spot, though the traffic nearby can be a bit much during rush hour. We’ve been running M-Cube Toolings (P) Ltd. from this location for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent working with machines and making sure the parts we produce are what the customer asked for. It’s a lot of metal shavings and oil, so things aren't always spotless around here. We have a small team. Everyone knows their job. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to the desk picks it up. We focus on the tools. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. We get a lot of locals dropping in with small jobs, and then we have the bigger orders that take weeks. We try to keep things moving. The building itself is older, but it serves us well. We’ve got enough space for the lathes and the storage racks. It gets hot in the summer, so we keep the fans running all day long.
