Shree Ambal Engineering Works

We are located at No. 3/43 Periyar Salai in Ramapuram. Shree Ambal Engineering Works has been operating out of this workshop for quite some time. If you walk inside, you'll see stacks of metal rods and old machines that still run perfectly fine. The sound of grinding and welding is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. Ramapuram is always busy, especially on Periyar Salai, so there’s a lot of dust and noise coming in from the road. We don't mind it much. The guys here wear work clothes that are pretty worn out because engineering isn't clean work. We make parts, fix machines, and take on whatever custom jobs people bring in. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, and we just keep at it until it's finished. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. Usually, the owner is right there on the shop floor with everyone else. The roof is corrugated metal, so it gets really loud when it rains. We keep our tools organized in our own way, even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. It's a local business through and through. We know the tea seller down the street and the other shop owners nearby. It’s just a regular day of hard work for us here. We like the feeling of finishing a solid piece of metalwork and seeing it go out the door.
