Our office is situated at Plot No 38 A, Door No 2 74, on Padmavathy Street in Balaiah Nagar. If you know the Madipakkam area in Chennai, you know it can be a bit of a maze sometimes, but we like being tucked away in this part of town. It is a quiet street for the most part, which helps when we need to focus on the technical stuff we do for Infosys. The building is simple and doesn’t stand out much from the houses around it, which is how we like it. We have been operating out of this Chennai location for a while now. The team here is small, just a handful of people who know their jobs well and don't need much supervision. We spend a lot of our time looking at screens and talking over the phone, trying to make sure everything is running the way it should be. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, and we just have to deal with it and wait for things to get back to normal. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to do a decent day's work and head home to our families. It’s a practical way to run things, and it keeps the stress levels down when things get busy during the middle of the month.
