Glovis India Pvt Ltd is located at M 20 in the Tnhb Quarters, right near the Collector Office in Kanchipuram. It is a very busy little pocket of town, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to work or trying to get their business done at the government offices nearby. Our office isn’t much to look at from the street. It is a basic, functional space where we handle the logistics and the usual daily grind of the company. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we stay too busy to worry about things like that most of the time. Outside, the sounds of the town are always present, with horns honking and people shouting to be heard over the traffic. Kanchipuram gets incredibly hot in the afternoon, so we mostly stay inside with the air conditioning running while we check on shipments and talk to our drivers on the phone. It involves a lot of calls and staring at computer screens for hours. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors all know us. Sometimes we grab a quick lunch from the small food stalls down the road. It isn’t a high-rise building with a lobby, just a ground-floor type of place where things move in and out all day. We do not have fancy furniture or a big reception area. It is mostly just chairs, desks, and some files stacked up. We just focus on finishing the work so we can go home.
