Chikkanna Exports Private Limited

Chikkanna Exports Private Limited is located out in Sriperumbudur at the Sa Complex in Iimambakkam. We are at Plot No 8 and 9. This area is mostly industrial, so there’s a lot of heavy vehicle movement around us all the time. It’s a good spot for an export business because it’s out of the main city congestion. The office itself is quite basic. We have some sturdy tables and a few filing cabinets. There’s no air conditioning in the main area, so the fans are always running to keep the air moving. Most of our work is about managing the flow of goods. We deal with a lot of different suppliers and it takes a lot of phone calls to keep everything on track. We don’t have a lot of visitors here, so we don’t worry too much about how the place looks. It’s more about being functional. We spend our days looking at shipping manifests and talking to drivers. Sriperumbudur gets very hot in the summer, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We are just a small group of people working hard to make sure the exports get out on time. There aren't any fancy titles or big offices here. Everyone just chips in where they are needed. It’s a gritty, hands-on kind of environment and we are used to the pace of things here.
