Sri Krishna Exports

Our setup is at Plot No. 29/1 in Vayalur. We are located near the Nerkunam Post Office, which is in the Theyyur Taluk of Kanchipuram District. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but we like the space we have. Being in a rural area means we have more room for the export materials. The building is simple and sits on a good piece of land. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We start the day when the sun comes up and usually try to finish before it gets too dark because the roads aren't great at night. We spend our time checking the quality of the products and getting them into the right containers. There is a lot of dust because of the open ground around us, but we keep the storage area as clean as possible. We don't have any high-tech systems, just some basic scales and a lot of manual labor. It feels more like a community effort than a big business. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. We don't mind the slower pace as long as the work gets done correctly. It’s just an honest way to make a living out here in Kanchipuram. We don't worry about being polished; we just worry about getting the boxes ready.
