Aishwarya Boiler Systems

Our workshop is at No: 36 in the Sidco Women'S Industrial Estate over in Thirumullaivoyal. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but it's a good area for industrial work. We deal with boiler systems, which means a lot of heavy metal, pipes, and welding. The shop floor is usually pretty hot because of the work we do. We've been in this particular SIDCO estate for quite some time now. You’ll see a lot of spare parts and old boiler shells sitting around the yard. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s because we are actually working. The guys are usually covered in some kind of grease or soot by the end of the shift. We don't really have a front office staff, so if you come by, you’ll probably just talk to whoever is closest to the door. We just focus on fixing things and making sure the systems are running like they should. Thirumullaivoyal has a lot of these small units, and we fit right in. There’s always the sound of a hammer hitting metal or the hiss of a torch. We eat our lunch together in the small break area and then get right back to the pipes. It’s hard work, and we just take it one day at a time without any big corporate talk. Most of us have been doing this for years and it’s just what we do to get by.
