Hotel Kokan Ratna The Deluxe Family Restaurant & Bar

Our building is the Shankeshwar Krupa, and we are right out on the Birla College Highway Road in Kalyan. It’s a busy stretch of road, always trucks and cars moving past at all hours. We have the restaurant and the bar here too, so it gets pretty lively in the evenings. Most of the people who stop by are locals from around Thane or travelers who are using the highway to get somewhere else. It’s a simple setup, nothing too complicated. We spend a lot of our time in the kitchen or behind the bar making sure things are moving along. The highway noise is something you just live with when you are in this part of Kalyan. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is bad, but usually, there’s a steady stream of people. We’ve been in this building for a while now. It’s a sturdy place, even if it looks like any other building on the road. Families come in for the restaurant side of things, and then you have the regulars who just want a drink after work. There isn't a lot of fancy stuff here, just tables, chairs, and the rooms upstairs. We keep it straightforward because that is what people expect when they stop at a place on the highway. It’s just us working every day to keep the doors open and the food ready. It is what it is.
