Kamat Hotels India Ltd.

Kamat Hotels India Ltd. is based out of D3/4 in the Jahangeer Apartments. We are located on Murbad Road in the Syndicate area of Kalyan. Kalyan is a busy place, and Murbad Road is one of those stretches where something is always happening. Our office is inside the apartment complex, so it feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We have two units combined to make enough room for our small team to work comfortably. The building is older, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the elevators sometimes have a mind of their own. We don't have any polished marble floors or fancy receptionists. Usually, you just walk in and see us sitting at our desks surrounded by stacks of paper and files. We handle various tasks related to the hotel business from here, even though we aren't actually inside a hotel building ourselves. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. We know the local shopkeepers downstairs and often grab our tea from the corner stall. There isn't any corporate talk here; we just speak normally and try to get our jobs finished so we can catch the train or head home. It is a very grounded way of working. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we think it is better to just focus on the work itself and keep things running.
