Rabbani Fabrication

We have our little workshop on Ekmi Road. It is not much to look at, just a basic building where we do all our metal work. Most days you will find us out front cutting iron bars or welding frames together. The road gets quite a bit of traffic, so there is always noise and dust blowing in through the open door. We do not have fancy air conditioning or anything like that. We just open the shutters and let the breeze in, though it usually just brings more heat. We have been on Ekmi Road for a long time and most people around here know us by name. If a neighbor needs a hinge fixed or a bicycle frame welded, they just drop it off and we get to it when we can. We use old tools that have been around for years. They are greasy and a bit rusty, but they still work perfectly fine. The floor is always covered in metal scraps and black dust from the grinding wheels. We have to sweep it out every evening, but by the next morning, it is messy again. It is just the nature of the work. We do not do any big advertising. People just see us working when they drive past and stop in if they need something made. It is steady, honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until dark. We like the independence of having our own place on this road.
