Jyothi Engineering

Our shop, Jyothi Engineering, is located in Shahabad. It is not a very big place, but it is enough for what we do every day. We have been here for a long time and the locals know us pretty well. We mostly handle small engineering tasks and repairs. We have a few machines that we have kept in good shape over the years. It is often quite hot inside the workshop, especially in the afternoon. We do not have air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that spin as fast as they can. The walls are stained with oil and there are metal parts piled in the corners. We do not really have a secretary or anyone to answer the phones. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and picks it up. We do not spend money on advertising. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. People come to us when they have something that needs fixing. We take our time to do it right. It is not about being the fastest; it is about making sure the part works when it leaves our shop. We are just a few guys who enjoy working with our hands. Shahabad is a decent place to be, and we have made a lot of friends here over the years. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit outside on the stools and wait. It is a good time to rest. We just keep our heads down and work.
