Samhita New General School

Tilak Road is one of those places in Rajahmundry that always feels like it’s in motion. Samhita New General School is right in the middle of all that. If you’re looking for us, you just head down towards the central part of town and you’ll find our entrance. The building has been around for a while and shows its age in the way the floors have worn down from years of footsteps. We aren't trying to be the most modern school in the state. We just want to make sure the students who come here have a desk to sit at and a teacher who shows up. The rooms can be a bit tight, especially during the afternoon when the sun hits the side of the building. We use a lot of fans to keep the air moving. Our playground isn't very big, so the kids have to be careful when they’re running around during their break time. You can hear the sounds of the market and the buses from the windows, but the kids are used to it by now. We keep a regular schedule, from the first bell in the morning to the last one in the evening. There are no grand lobbies or expensive statues here. It’s just a plain school on a busy street where we do our best with what we have. People in Rajahmundry know us as a reliable spot.
