Rabarika Agrofed Producer Company Limited

You can find us in Visavadar, specifically over in Bapa Nagar. We operate out of Bhaliya Jentibhai Kalabhaivalla’s place. It’s a local setup for the farmers around Rabarika and the nearby areas. Most of us started out just helping each other with tools or seeds, and then we thought, why not make it official? So we registered this agrofed producer company. It helps us manage our crops and maybe get a better handle on the costs of running a farm. Visavadar is a good place to live, even if the work is back-breaking sometimes. We don’t have a big fancy building with glass windows. We just have a desk and some chairs at Jentibhai’s house where we sit and go over the numbers. Every time the season changes, we have a lot to discuss. Some days the weather is on our side and some days it’s a struggle. We don’t pretend to be some big city corporation. We’re just neighbors who decided to pool our resources. It takes a lot of patience to get everyone on the same page, but we’ve known each other for years, so it usually works out fine in the end. People come by to talk about their fields and what they need for the next harvest. It’s just a regular part of life here in the village. We’re glad we have this little company to keep us organized and help us stay on our feet.
