Amar Sea Food

Amar Sea Food is located near Ambedkar Nagar. It’s a place that most people in the local area know about if they need fish. We aren't in a big industrial park or a fancy office building. We are just right there in the middle of things. The morning starts very early for us, way before the sun is even up properly. That’s when the fresh catch comes in and we have to get to work sorting it out. It’s a wet job and the smell of fish is something you just get used to after a couple of days. We have a few big tables where we do the cleaning and the packing. The floor is usually covered in water and ice. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Most of our customers are folks who have been buying from us for a long time. Some days are better than others depending on what the boats bring in. We just take it as it comes. The neighborhood is lively and there’s always something going on around Ambedkar Nagar. We keep our doors open and just get on with the daily routine. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We don't bother much with the internet, we just prefer talking to people face to face. We've been here long enough that we feel part of the brickwork.
