Wood Handicrafts

Wood Handicrafts is set up at Plot No 83, KS 72 on the ground floor. We are right on Guda Road, not too far from the Jhala Mund Surgical building. It’s a practical location for us. Being on the ground floor makes it easier to move the heavy logs and the finished furniture in and out without struggling with stairs. The shop is usually a bit of a mess. We have wood scraps in the corners and tools spread out on the workbenches. It’s a working space, not a gallery. The air smells like fresh-cut pine or teak, depending on what we are working on that week. Guda Road is a busy place, so there’s always something going on outside. We don’t have fancy lighting or displays. We just put the items out where there’s space. If someone walks in, they see us working. We don't stop what we're doing unless they have a question. It’s just a straightforward way of running things. We don’t spend money on marketing or polished brochures. Our address is well-known to the locals who need something made of wood. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start where we left off the day before. It’s a lot of sanding and polishing, but that’s the job we chose and we keep at it daily. That is all there is to it.
