Pooja Art

Our place, Pooja Art, is tucked away on Street No. 10. It’s right over in Basni Phase II, Plot No B 26. If you get lost, just look for the AIIMS building, we are pretty close to that landmark. It’s a bit of a dusty stretch of road, but it works for us. We spend most of our hours inside the workshop. There is always something being worked on, whether it's a small piece or a bigger project. We don't have much of a storefront, just the space where the work happens. Sometimes the traffic on the street gets a bit backed up, especially near the hospital area. Our day starts early. We open up the shutters and start looking at what needs finishing from yesterday. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping the tools sharp. There aren't any suits or ties here. We usually have grease or paint on our hands by noon. It's how we've always operated. People in the neighborhood know where we are if they need something. We don't do much advertising. The address is easy enough to find once you're in the right part of Basni. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. It’s not fancy, but the roof stays over our heads and the work gets done. That’s about all there is to say about us. We are just regular people making things.
