Vardhman Steel

Vardhman Steel is located at E-96 in Phase Ii, Basni. It’s an industrial area that is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. The yard is usually full of steel piles and there is a lot of heavy lifting involved in our day. We have been at this address for a long time, and the building shows it. The paint is peeling in places and the sign out front has faded a bit from the sun. We don't really mind, though, because the work inside is what matters. We wake up early to beat the traffic and get the machines started. There is a specific rhythm to a steel yard that you only understand if you work in one. The sound of the overhead crane is something you get used to pretty quickly. We drink our tea in small glass cups and talk about the next delivery. It is not a place for people who are afraid of getting their clothes dirty. We have stacks of iron and steel that need to be sorted and shipped. Basni Phase Ii is a busy place, and we just try to keep up with the pace of the other shops around us. We don’t have any fancy mission statements; we just show up and do the job. The floors are hard on your feet, but we’ve got a good crew that knows how to handle the heavy stuff without complaining too much.
