The Highlights Unisex Salon

People around Chopasni Housing Board know us as the spot near Central Academy. We have been here on Chopasni Road for a while now. The shop is a unisex one, so we see everyone from kids to older folks coming in Jodhpur heat. It gets pretty busy on weekends especially when the sun is down. I usually start the day early, sweeping the floor and getting the chairs ready. There is always someone waiting even before I finish my morning tea. We have some regular customers who just come to chat while they wait for a trim. It's not a fancy place but we keep things clean and functional. You can find us easily because we are right on the main road. The mirrors are big and the lighting is okay for what we do. Sometimes the noise from the road gets inside but that is just Jodhpur life for you. We don't have a big team, just a few of us working together. Most days we are just busy with scissors and combs. It is hard work being on your feet all day but seeing the same faces every month makes it worth it. If you are walking past the academy you will probably see our sign. We just try to do a decent job every time someone sits in the chair. It is a simple life here in the salon. Every day is different but mostly it’s just the usual routine.
