Icanic Hair Saloon

Icanic Hair Saloon is found right on Chopasni Road in Jodhpur. We are in a spot that is quite easy to point out because we are opposite the Juna Khedapati Temple and near the Cheergarh Masjid. It is a busy part of the city and there is always a lot of movement between the temple and the mosque. Our shop is just a small room where we do our daily work. The walls have a few posters on them that have been there for years. We get a mix of people coming in, some coming from prayers and others just passing through the neighborhood. The heat in Jodhpur can be quite something, so we have a couple of fans that stay on all day. It’s not the quietest place because of the bells and the traffic, but we like the energy of the street. We use standard tools and we don't try to act like we are something we are not. The chairs are a bit worn at the edges but they do the job. We keep our scissors sharp and our mirrors clean, and that is about all we focus on. Most of our customers are just regulars who live a few streets away. It is just a local business doing what it does every day. Sometimes the bells from the temple are quite loud in the mornings, but it is a nice sound to work to.
