Our place, Expose Salons Pvt Ltd, is on the second floor of Anand Bhawan. You can find us on 9th B or C Road in Sardarpura. It’s a busy part of Jodhpur, especially since we’re right opposite Gypsy Restaurant. Everyone knows that restaurant, so it makes giving directions easy. We’ve got our chairs and mirrors set up there. It’s a climb up the stairs, but it's worth it for the view of the street. We spend most of our time with scissors and combs in hand. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we’re always sweeping. It’s a lively spot. Sometimes the music from the street comes in through the windows. We aren't a massive chain or anything, just a local salon team. We have a few regulars who have been coming since we opened. They usually come in for a quick trim or a shave and stay to chat for a bit. The Jodhpur sun hits the front windows in the afternoon, making it quite bright. We keep the place clean, but it's a working shop, so there’s always something going on. It’s not a spa with quiet music; it’s more of a place where people talk and laugh. We like the energy of Sardarpura. It keeps us on our toes. Just a normal salon doing its thing day in and day out. We don't have fancy uniforms, just comfortable clothes for long days on our feet.
