Kamini Beauty Saloon

Our little spot, Kamini Beauty Saloon, is located at Shop No.3 on Old Locco Road in the Ratanada area of Jodhpur. We are right near Satyam Hospital Jda, so there’s always people passing by. Jodhpur is a sunny place, and the light comes into the shop quite nicely in the afternoons. I’ve been working here for a while, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. I come in, sweep the floor, and set out the threads and combs. It’s a simple setup with a couple of chairs and some basic shelves for the creams and lotions. We mostly help the local ladies with their hair or threading. People usually stop in while they are out running errands or after visiting the hospital nearby. The atmosphere is quiet for the most part, though it gets lively when a group of friends comes in together. We don't have a big staff or anything, just a few of us who know how to handle the work. The walls have a few pictures on them, and we try to keep the place feeling comfortable for everyone who stops by. It’s not a high-end place with fancy machines, just a regular Jodhpur shop where we do our best to make sure the work is done right and the customers are happy with what we do for them.
