Super King Hair Saloon

If you go down Main Bhadwasiya Road in Jodhpur, you’ll find us right opposite the petrol pump. The shop is in a busy area, so there is always noise from the traffic and the horns outside. We’ve been running this saloon for a while now. It’s not a big space, but we make it work. We have the usual setup with the heavy chairs and the big mirrors that cover most of the wall. Sometimes the floor gets covered in hair when we’re busy, but we sweep it up as fast as we can. Being near the Mandore Road means we get all sorts of people stopping by. Some are just passing through the city and need a quick trim, while others have been coming to us since they were schoolboys. We don't use any high-tech machines, just the standard stuff that we know works. The lighting inside is okay, nothing special. We mostly talk about the weather or how the local market prices are doing while we work. It’s a straightforward kind of place. No one wears uniforms or anything like that. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. It’s a bit dusty outside because of the road, but inside we try to keep it comfortable enough for everyone. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Jodhpur, just a reliable shop for the people living around Bhadwasiya. We usually close up when it gets dark and the street lights come on.
