Safari Tour & Travels

If you head inside Jalori Gate and find your way to Navchowkiya, you’ll see us at Singh Pole Mg. Safari Tour & Travels is tucked away in this part of Jodhpur, which is a bit of an older area with lots of narrow lanes. It can be a bit tricky to find if it’s your first time, but most locals know the way. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, mostly helping tourists and locals figure out how to see the sights or get to the next town. The office is small and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We have maps pinned up everywhere, though most of the time we just explain the directions by memory. It’s a busy spot because of the gate, so there is always noise from scooters and people walking by. We don’t really do big advertising; mostly people just walk in because they saw the sign or a friend told them we were here. We handle a lot of the desert tours and local sightseeing stuff. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains, so we go back to using paper receipts and the old phone. It’s just how things are here in the old city. We try to be helpful and give people a fair idea of what to expect on the road without making it sound better than it is. It's just simple travel help.
