Haveli Tours And Travels is located in N.K. Tower, right across from the New Kohinoor. It’s a busy spot and the parking can be a bit of a nightmare, but we like being in the middle of things. We have maps pinned to the walls and a lot of old brochures that probably need updating. Mostly, we just talk to people who want to go somewhere else for a while. We’ve been booking trips and sorting out cars for years now. It’s just a small office with a few desks and a very busy telephone. Sometimes the phone rings and we’re all on other lines, so you just have to wait a minute. We don't have any fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just sit here and try to find the best routes for people. My sister does most of the paperwork while I talk to the drivers. We know the roads around here pretty well. It's not a glamorous job, but we enjoy hearing about the places people visit. The sign outside N.K. Tower is a little crooked, but it’s been there forever. We don't do much advertising because people just see us when they're going to the New Kohinoor and remember us later. It’s a simple business and we try to keep it that way for everyone who walks in. We usually keep some candy on the counter for the kids who come in with their parents while they plan their holidays.
