Roopsi Beauty Parlour

Our shop is at C-189 in Shastri Nagar, Jodhpur. If you are looking for us, we are located right opposite the Krishna Mandir. The temple bells ring in the mornings and the evenings, which is a very nice sound to work to throughout the day. Jodhpur can be quite dry and windy, so we always have people coming in looking for a bit of help with their hair or skin after being out in the sun and dust. We are just a local spot, nothing more than that. Most of our furniture and the big mirrors have been here since we first started. We know most of the families living in this block by name. During the wedding season, it gets very hectic with girls coming in for henna or getting ready for functions, and the shop gets full of laughter and loud chatter. On normal days, it is much slower. We might just have one or two people in for a thread or a quick trim. We keep a cold water cooler in the corner because the heat in Rajasthan is no joke during the summer. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because we get a lot of sand blowing in from the street. We do not do any big advertisements. Our sign out front is a bit faded, but everyone in Shastri Nagar knows where we are.
