Rident Inc. is based out of 97 Arihant Nagar, right on Pal Road in Jodhpur. If you know Rajasthan, you know it gets incredibly hot, so we spend most of our time under the ceiling fans trying to stay cool while we work. The office isn't anything fancy. It’s just a space where we keep our computers and a few chairs for when people stop by to talk. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and have seen the shops around us change quite a bit. There are just a handful of us working here. We handle a lot of administrative and coordination tasks. Some days are very quiet and we just sit and drink coffee while we catch up on emails. Other days, the phone won't stop ringing and things get a bit chaotic. We don't have a big company culture or anything like that. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and go home to our families. Pal Road is usually busy with traffic, so the sound of horns is pretty much the background music to our day. We try to keep things organized, but there’s always a pile of papers somewhere that needs sorting. It’s a decent place to work and the neighbors are friendly enough. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India, we are just working through our daily lists.
