Gaytri Shot Blasting

Our place, Gaytri Shot Blasting, is located at Office No K 86 in Gayatri Nagar, just off Devi Road. It is a local shop where we focus on cleaning up metal surfaces and getting them ready for whatever comes next. The workshop isn't very large so we have to be careful about how we move things around. There is always a lot of noise when the blasting machines are running and we all wear heavy gear to stay safe from the flying grit. The floor is usually covered in the tiny beads or sand we use for the cleaning process. It is a messy job and you definitely cannot wear nice clothes to work here. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the records and talk to customers who drop off their iron gates or old car parts. Sometimes people bring in very rusty things and it takes us a long time to get them looking smooth again. We don't have a big sign or any fancy lights outside. Most people find us by the sound or because they live nearby in the neighborhood. It is a steady rhythm of loading parts in, running the machines, and then checking the finish by hand. It is simple, physical work that keeps us on our feet all day long.
