Rathi Mundra & Associates

We are way up on the third floor at 308 Jalori Gate. It’s right in the middle of Rai Bahadur Bazar on Mgh Road. Being on the third floor means a lot of steps every day because the lift is often out of order or just too slow to wait for. Rathi Mundra & Associates is situated in a very busy part of town. Downstairs the bazaar is always loud with shopkeepers calling out and motorcycles weaving through the crowds. Up here it is a little bit quieter but you can still hear the city. Our office is packed with bookshelves that are overflowing with manuals and papers. We have a few computers that we share and the cables are a bit of a mess under the desks. We usually have a lot of people coming in and out because of the location. It’s hard to keep the floors clean with so many people walking in from the dusty street. We don't have a fancy waiting room so people just sit on the bench we put in the hallway. It’s a functional space above everything else. We start early to avoid the worst of the heat and the midday crowd. Sometimes we take a break and look out over the rooftops of the bazaar. It’s a good spot to see the whole city moving while we sit and finish our paperwork. There isn't much more to tell about us besides that we've been here for years.
