Raju Beauty Parlour

This parlour is located on Circuit House Road in Jodhpur. If you live around here, you know the road gets busy with all the cars and people heading towards the city. It is a simple place, not one of those big fancy ones you see in shopping malls. We have been working out of this spot for a long time. Jodhpur can get very hot, so we have the fans going all day. Women from the neighborhood come in for threading or to get their hair tied up for a party. We keep the place tidy. There is always a smell of talcum powder and maybe some hair oil in the air. Circuit House Road has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by. Other days, especially during the wedding season, it gets really crowded in here. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the work. People know Raju and they know where to find us. We use the basic things, nothing too expensive or strange. It is just a neighborhood parlour where you can get your eyebrows done and talk about what is happening in the town. No one is in a rush here. We take our time and make sure the work is done.
