Rajshree Hair Salon

Rajshree Hair Salon is situated on the Main Bhadwasiya Road in Jodhpur. If you’re heading toward the Mandore Road or the Government Hospital, you’ll pass right by us. It’s a dusty stretch of road, especially when the wind picks up, so we’re always wiping down the glass and the counters. The shop isn't very large, just a basic room with the stuff we need to cut hair and trim beards. We see a lot of people coming from the hospital nearby, sometimes they just need a place to sit and get cleaned up while they wait for someone. We’ve been here long enough that we know the shopkeepers next door and the people who live in the houses behind the main road. It isn't a place with air conditioning or soft music; we just have the ceiling fans spinning and the radio playing sometimes if we feel like it. We use standard chairs that have some wear on them, but they are comfortable enough for a quick cut. Most of our days are spent standing on our feet, watching the traffic go by through the front door while we work. It’s a decent spot in Jodhpur K U M. We don't try to be anything we aren't. People come in, get their hair done, pay their bit, and head back out into the sun. That is just how we’ve always run things here on Bhadwasiya Road.
