Rajlaxmi Steel Industries

Our place, Rajlaxmi Steel Industries, is in the Basni Mia II Phase area at E-430. It’s an industrial part of town, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks going by. Our building is a large shed where we do all our steel work. It’s noisy and can get quite hot when the machines are running, but that’s just the nature of the business. We have a small office tucked in the corner where we handle the paperwork. It’s usually covered in dust from the workshop. We don't have any fancy carpets or air conditioning in the main area. We’ve been operating in Basni for a long time. Most of our neighbors are also in the same kind of business, so we all know each other. We don’t use any corporate language or have big meetings. We just talk over the noise of the shop. If a client comes in, we show them the material and discuss the specs. It’s all very practical. We don’t believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. The work is tough on the hands, but we take pride in what we finish. We don't have a marketing team. Our work is what brings people back. We just stay focused on the orders we have and try to get them out on time. It’s a simple, hardworking life here in the industrial phase. That's just the way it goes.
