We have been here on Old Locco Road for quite a while now. If you know the Ratanada area in Jodhpur, you know how busy this stretch gets with all the people and traffic moving around. Our shop is just a simple place where men from the neighborhood come to get a haircut or a quick shave before they head off to work. It gets really hot in Jodhpur during the summer months, so people often pop in just to sit under the ceiling fan for a bit while they wait for their turn. We do not have anything fancy here. It is just a few chairs, some old mirrors, and the sound of the radio playing in the background. Most of our regulars have been coming to us since they were kids, and now they bring their own sons along. We talk about the local news, the weather, or whatever else is happening on Locco Road that day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the door wider to let the sunlight in so we can finish the job. It is a humble setup, honestly. We keep the floor swept and the scissors sharp. There is not much else to say about it. If you are walking past the old railway area and need a trim, you will see our sign hanging out front. We just do our work and go home at the end of the day. It is a quiet life.
