At R S Salon, we keep things pretty simple for everyone. Our shop is in Kamla Nehru Nagar, right near the Acharya Building. Jodhpur is a city where people value hard work, and that’s what we try to do every single day. We open up in the morning, sweep the front of the shop, and get ready for whoever walks in. Being in Kamla Nehru Nagar means we get a lot of students and office workers who live nearby. They don't want anything too fancy, just a clean look. We have the usual mirrors and the black chairs that everyone is used to. Sometimes we have the radio on, playing some old songs while we work. It makes the long day go by a little faster. The Acharya Building is a good landmark, so people usually find us without too much trouble. We don't use any of that fancy marketing talk. We just know how to handle scissors and a comb. If you've lived in this part of Jodhpur for long, you’ve probably walked past us a hundred times. We aren't a big corporate chain, just a small local spot where we know our customers by name. It’s a good life, even if our backs ache at the end of a long day. We just want to do a decent job so people come back next time they need their hair trimmed up.
