You can find us on the Main Rd in Pratap Nagar. Our shop, Poonam Hair Cutting Salon, is directly opposite the Filter House. It’s a landmark that everyone in Jodhpur knows. Being on the main road means we see a lot of traffic. Many people stop their bikes or cars to get a quick cut before they head home. The shop isn't very large. We have enough room for two or three people to work. The walls have a few old pictures on them. We like the neighborhood. It's 342003, and it's always active. We open up early and stay late most nights. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power is low, but we keep working. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here. Most of our clients are laborers or office workers from nearby. We keep the prices fair so everyone can afford it. It’s an honest living. Sometimes we share tea with the neighbors. The shop smells like shaving cream and talcum powder. It’s a familiar smell. We use simple towels and keep them washed. If you’re passing the Filter House, just look across the street. We’re right there. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just use our hands and our tools. That’s enough for us.
