P.H.D. Unisex Salon

You can find P.H.D. Unisex Salon over on 1St B Road in Sardarpura. We are at Plot No. 121, which is quite near Gold Plaza. In Jodhpur, this area stays fairly busy throughout the day with people coming and going. We decided to have a place where both men and women could come, as it just made sense for the families around here. The shop is set up with different sections so everyone feels comfortable while they get their hair done. We have been working out of this spot for a while now. The interior is practical. We have solid chairs and good lighting because you need that for cutting hair properly. It isn't a silent place; there's usually a bit of chatter or the sound of the clippers running. We get all sorts of people coming in. Some want a quick shave, others are looking for a haircut that looks a bit more modern. We don't try to be something we aren't. It is just a local salon where you can sit down and get your hair sorted. On hot days, the AC is a relief for anyone walking in from the Jodhpur sun. We keep a stack of newspapers for people waiting their turn. Most of our regulars live within walking distance or work at the nearby shops. We try to keep things organized, but on Saturdays, it can get a bit chaotic with everyone coming in at once. We just handle it one person at a time.
