Paranjape Traders

Paranjape Traders is tucked away at Shop No. 209-B inside the vegetable market near the Clock Tower. It is a very lively area to work in, though it gets quite noisy with all the vendors shouting and the customers pushing through the aisles. We have to open up the shop very early in the morning, usually while it is still dark outside, to match the market’s schedule. The space is pretty cramped because we have to fit all our stock onto high shelves, but we make it work. You can hear the bells from the clock tower ringing every hour, which is how we keep track of time when things get busy. We don't have a big team of employees, just a couple of us who have been here for years. Most of our day is spent helping the people who stop by and making sure our inventory is where it should be. It is definitely not a corporate environment; it is dusty and loud, and there is always something going on in the lane outside. We don't bother with fancy signs or any kind of promotion. People know where we are and what we have. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat, but it is a good way to stay busy. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to keep things running as smoothly as possible in a crowded market every day.
