Our office, New Swastik Tours & Travels, is located in Jajra Market over in Digadi Kalla, specifically in the Sainik Puri area on Bnar Road. It’s a bit further out from the main city center of Jodhpur, which makes it a different kind of pace than the downtown areas. We have been here in this 342001 area for some time. The market is where most of the local action happens, so we are right in the middle of it all. Our space is just a regular shop where we plan out trips and handle travel arrangements for whoever stops by. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s more of a place where friends and locals drop in to talk about their upcoming travel plans. Bnar Road gets quite busy with trucks and local traffic, so it can be a bit loud during the day. We have a few desks and some chairs for customers. Most of the time, we are busy with paperwork or talking to the drivers. It’s a local business run by local people who live nearby. We don't use big words or fancy promises, we just tell people where we can take them and what it usually costs. The office is simple, with maybe a calendar on the wall and some old maps that have been there for years. We spend our days making sure the bookings are correct and the vehicles are ready to go. It’s a practical way to earn a living in Jodhpur.
