New Kaynat Unisex Salon

New Kaynat Unisex Salon is on the second floor of the Glitz Cinema building inside The Blue City Mall. We are on Circuit House Road in Jodhpur, near Ajeet Bhavan. Being in a mall is a bit different than being on a regular street corner. It’s cleaner and the air conditioning stays on all day, which is a big help in this city. We handle hair for both men and women here. Since the cinema is right there, we get people coming in before or after a movie. It’s a bit more modern inside. We have better chairs and the lighting is quite bright so we can see every detail. But we are still a local business at heart. The staff is just regular people who know their way around a pair of scissors. We have a row of mirrors and a place for people to wash their hair. It’s a bit more organized than the small street shops, but we don't try to be too fancy. We just do our work and keep the place tidy. There is always the sound of people walking by in the mall and the distant noise from the food court. We stay open as long as the mall is open. It’s a busy life, especially on the weekends when families come out to shop. We just keep our heads down and focus on the person in the chair.
