We’re right behind the Kalinga Hotel, which is a big landmark for people coming off the trains. Our office is modest. It’s tucked away, so you have to look for the sign. We spend our time helping people figure out their travel plans. Whether it’s a bus ticket or a car for the day, we handle the details. The area around the railway station is always loud and moving. There are always people carrying bags and rickshaws honking. It’s a busy environment to work in. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. We know the train schedules by heart because we’re so close to the tracks. Our space is just a room with a couple of tables and some chairs. It’s not fancy, but it serves its purpose. We talk to travelers from all over. Some are lost, some know exactly where they’re going. We just sit here and help them get to the next place.
