Native

Our workshop for Native is located at G/408-D in the second phase of Basni. We are right across the road from Durby Textiles, so there is always a lot of industrial activity happening around us. Basni is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the noise from all the factories. Our space is basically a big shed where we do all the production. It’s not fancy at all. We have some old desks in the corner for the paperwork, but most of the room is taken up by materials and benches. The floor is concrete and usually covered in bits of whatever we are working on that day. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer phones in a professional way. Usually, whoever is closest to the phone just picks it up. We started this because we wanted to make things our own way without a boss telling us what to do. Some weeks are slow and we just sit around talking, and other weeks we are working twelve-hour shifts to keep up. We don't really have a plan for the future other than staying open and doing the work. If you come looking for us, just look for the big textile mill and we are right there. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours and we like it that way.
