Our place is located over at A-4/B, Umaid Bhawan on Palace Road. Being in Rai Ka Bagh means we get a lot of people passing through this part of the city. We work with glass every day, which is a bit of a tricky job if you aren't careful. There are always sheets of glass leaning against the walls and the smell of cutting oil in the air. We do a lot of different things like mirrors and decorative pieces that people want for their homes. It is a messy job sometimes with all the tiny shards that need to be swept up constantly. We started this because we knew how to handle the material and it just grew from there. The workshop isn't very large but we make it work. Most days involve measuring twice and cutting once, otherwise, you waste a lot of good material. People come to us with all sorts of requests, some simple and some that take a lot more time to figure out. We sit down with them and look at the dimensions. Palace Road can get quite noisy with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. It is just a small team of us here trying to get the orders done right. We don't have a big corporate office, just the workspace where all the actual labor happens. We just hope the glass doesn't break on the way to the customer's house.
